Tapers notes: I've been following Julia Wheaton/Bloodline for a few years now, and had seen Julia's Whtiney Houston Tribute earlier this year. But, I was looking forward to see a Bloodline show and some of their originals. This show was a lot of fun, Julia and Eliza have very different types of voices, but they blend so well together. This show was supposed to include a SBD feed, but it ended up not working out. As soon as I arrived, I could tell the sound guy had almost no interest in being there and was going to be less than helpful. I understand that getting me a feed is at the bottom of a sound engineers priority list, and I have no problem with that. I do have a problem with sound engineers who are rude to the band, to me, and are more interested in chatting with friends that come by than doing their job. I was able to plug in, but I didn't expect it to turn out very well, and indeed I didn't get any sound at all from it. Luckily, I always record both AUD and SBD when possible just in case of something like this, and the recording turned out pretty good.
