Tapers notes: A couple months before this show, I had seen Heavy for the Hawk at the same venue. During that show, Rachel (lead singer) mentioned she was part of another band called Hazel Mood and they did more r&b/soul type covers, so I figured why not come to that show as well? The band was a 9 piece this night, including multiple horn instruments, which ended up saving part of the night. There was trouble right from the start with the vocals cutting out due to a power issue, but the horns were loud enough on their own that they could still be heard, so while they figured power issues out a few times, we were treated to some impromptu jams. About halfway through the set the power issues were figured out and it was smooth sailing from there.

I'm travelin' light and I'm slow coming home"
