Jason "Sundance" Head is an American country-soul singer and songwriter. He is the son of American singer Roy Head. In 2007, he was a semi-finalist on the sixth season of the Fox television series American Idol, but was eliminated one week before the finals. In 2016, he became the winner of season 11 of the US The Voice. He was part of Team Blake Shelton. His winning song is "Darlin' Don't Go". In 2018, he signed onto Dean Dillon's Wildcatter Records and released the single Leave Her Wild.

Tapers notes: Opening for Austin Allsup. I got permission to record this show from Austin's management, but they asked that I not share his set because they were recording it for official release down the road. I will honor that of course, so only Sundance Head's set will be shared. The last 2 tracks have some weird edits I had to make, the set was over and they started music from the PA, and then Austin came out and asked Sundance to sing one of his dads song. I had already stopped the recorder and quickly hit record again, so there are some jumps in between those two songs, no music is missing though.
