Singer-songwriter, Sammie Jean Cohen, hails from Minneapolis, but has also experienced life in the mountains of Montana and off grid deserts of Arizona. Her musical style seamlessly blends outlaw country with bluesy Americana elements, creating her own unique sound.

Tapers notes: Part of Brews on the Chippewa (Set 1 of 4). I learned about this through one of the bands who played later in the day (High & Rising), and figured why not record some other sets as well? These were all supposed to be SBD/AUD matrix recordings, but an overly rude sound engineer never let that happen (long story), so this is what I was able to get. I wasn't familiar with Sammie before this day, but I really enjoyed her music, definitely worth checking out.
"Got a mind to ramble, got a mind to roam
I'm travelin' light and I'm slow coming home"
